Milestone issue for global newsletter
With the publication of its 100th monthly issue in February 2008, Mel Ettenson’s GLOBAL PLASTICS LETTER marked a milestone in its publishing history. It also featured a link to the 40th anniversary edition of the movie The Graduate and its famous line “… just one word — plastics!” Since November 1999, there have been almost 100 industry interviews published in the four-page, monthly, by subscription only, newsletter. The publication is devoted to the global plastics shapes and semi-finished plastics industry, which reports on plastic sheet, rod, tube, film and pipe products, manufacturers and distributors. It features market moves, pricing and industry trends, forecasts, distributor and manufacturer briefs, mergers and acquisitions and people news. The newsletter is distributed by e-mail or postal mail.
